Event overview

N.I.P.S. 2020 promises the year’s most strategic opportunity to network with both industry peers and key decision makers. There will be a host of networking events, including side meetings, gala dinners, cultural nights, luncheons and coffee breaks throughout the summit.

The Nigeria International Petroleum Summit is a project of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Its structure and organization received the approval of the Federal Executive Council and has the highest level of government backing and endorsement. Organised in the true spirit of a PPP, N.I.P.S. creates the platform for Nigeria to help galvanize Africa’s response to global Oil and Gas Challenges.

In N.I.P.S. 2018, 4,182Sqm of exhibition space offered was fully booked with 30% of that already pre-booked within two weeks of the event close. In 2019, organizers are making available 8,000sqm of exhibition space to accommodate the expected surge in booking requests… The exhibition will allow companies to demonstrate their latest technologies and market their goods and services directly to decision makers.

N.I.P.S. offers several must attend highly interactive plenary sessions focusing not just on emerging challenges, but opportunities in times of transformational industry shift… There are also free Technical Workshops, targeted at students, Oil & Gas technicians, procurement officers as well as attendees looking to discuss the latest technology on display.

What’s on?

N.I.P.S. goes beyond just Oil and Gas. The event provides a unique opportunity for delegates to experience true Nigerian culture. Over the years, we have hosted top entertainment acts during our evening functions and we continue to organise many side cultural shows that allow our guests experience the best of Nigeria.

Over the years, our clients have used the platform of the Nigeria International Petroleum Summit to maximise their visibility at the event in a cost effective manner. Sponsoring N.I.P.S. remains the most assured way for our clients to demonstrate their continued support for the Nigerian and indeed African Petroleum Sector. “I welcome you all to the 1st edition of the Nigeria International Petroleum Summit;African Technology and Business Conference. Nigeria has realised a major milestone in the organisation of the very first of the International Petroleum Summit.

I congratulate the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, for the feat of organising this summit. This summit is significant for various reasons, as it has the full backing of the Federal Government of Nigeria and it represents our contribution to the quest for a sustainable platform for global industry players to come to Africa in the interest of the Oil and Gas industry.

It gladdens our hearts that you are here in large numbers. The summit is designed to be Africa’s largest and most important industry platform and linkage to the world where engineering and technological breakthroughs, bid rounds and major contract signing and side conferences will meet with other developmental and economic diversification initiatives.

I am pleased that this summit is targeted at an inclusive audience. Nigeria’s worthy presence in the petroleum sphere demands that this summit occurs regularly and should extend beyond our hydrocarbons…”
